Are you ready to be part of a team who are key in transforming the trading process - from client inflow to post-trade analysis? We are now looking for a curious Trading Quant that strives for data-driven decision-making, to enhance the measurability of the actions taken by traders and portfolio managers, and to enable our traders to better source liquidity and manage execution risk.
Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the centre of investment management in the Nordea Group and in the Asset & Wealth Management division. NAM is the largest asset manager in the Nordics with the vision of being a leading European Asset Manager. We want to do this by delivering returns with responsibility. We meet customer demands and guide our customers in the right direction in asset selection while ensuring prudent ESG practices. NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients.
About this opportunity
Within the investment management area Global Trading is responsible for order generation and trade execution on behalf of portfolio managers across asset classes.
Welcome to the Trading Quants within the Global Trading team. We add value by being change enablers that promote transformation of the investment process as part of an agile value stream where we identify business problems, define and implement solutions, to generate tangible value for our clients. We homogenize data across asset classes, add structure and measurability to our investment processes, to unlock scale and quality throughout the organization.
What you’ll be doing:
Engage with traders to solve their execution challenges by providing them with data, frameworks, and tools that improve the search for liquidity and highlights execution risks Drive projects within our value stream, binding together business and technology, to ensure we deliver tangible outcomes for our clients Ensure data-driven decision-making by expanding our Trading Data Model and its applications Interact with internal and external stakeholders like traders, portfolio managers, and our technology providers Extract data insights for client services and senior management on an ad-hoc basisYou’ll join a motivated and experienced quant team that values a cooperative environment where you can draw on your teammates' expertise and commitment to excellence. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your professional profile and background:
Have a solid academic foundation e.g. a masters in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc. Are experienced with Python and SQL Are interested in asset management and financial markets Have great problem solving skills - analytical and technical
