Die Nachhaltigkeitsabteilung von RWE Offshore Wind koordiniert und treibt die Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie und -initiativen in unseren Offshore-Aktivitäten voran. Wir haben den richtigen Job für dich als Senior Sustainability Manager Biodiversität (d/w/m), wenn du dich dafür begeistern kannst, ein Portfolio von Initiativen zu leiten und zu steuern, die darauf abzielen, unsere vom CEO gesponserten und vom Board beaufsichtigten (marinen) Biodiversitätsziele in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleg:innen anderer Bereiche auf der ganzen Welt zu erreichen.

Außerdem kannst du mit deinem fundierten Wissen über (marine) Biodiversität & Ökologie andere, einschließlich des Senior Managements, bei der Verankerung von Nachhaltigkeit in unseren Geschäftsprozessen und -entscheidungen aktiv unterstützen. 

Deine Zukunftspläne

Du verantwortest und leitest komplexe multidisziplinäre Initiativen/Piloten, die es uns ermöglichen, unsere konzernweiten (marinen) Biodiversitäts- und Ökologieziele zu erreichen:Initiierung und Förderung der Realisierung ausgewählter Initiativen/Piloten einschließlich der Sicherstellung der Finanzierung und BudgetverantwortungBeaufsichtigung der Umsetzung von Initiativen/Piloten, die von anderen Bereichen durchgeführt werdenEntwicklung, Initiierung und Implementierung neuer Initiativen/Piloten in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem weiteren Business, Unterstützung von Ausschreibungsverfahren für verschiedene Märkte in Übereinstimmung mit anerkannten Standards sowie internationalen und nationalen ProgrammenManagement der gesamten Pipeline bestehender und potenzieller künftiger Initiativen/Piloten inklusive Finanzierung, Fortschrittsberichte und Konsolidierung für die regelmäßige Überprüfung der StrategieDu initiierst sowie förderst die Kommunikation bewährter Praktiken / Lessons Learned und wendest Initiativen und Expertise in verschiedenen Geschäftsbereichen an, u. a. in den Bereichen Origination & Development, Construction, Operation und EngineeringDarüber hinaus lieferst du eine klare Übersicht und Analyse bezüglich Nachhaltigkeitstrends mit Schwerpunkt auf Themen der (marinen) Biodiversität, die für den Offshore-Sektor von Bedeutung sind. Dies umfasst Rahmenwerke, Wettbewerbs- und Marktanalysen, um fundierte strategische sowie geschäftliche Entscheidungen zu ermöglichen und die Perspektive des Senior Managements für das Thema zu entwickeln sowie zu fördernDu fungierst als Ansprechperson für die RWE Gruppe und andere RWE-Einheiten zum Thema (marine) Biodiversität. Du steuerst und gestaltest das Engagement von RWE Offshore in konzernweiten oder RWE-übergreifenden Biodiversitätsprojekten und -aktivitätenIm Bedarfsfall übernimmst du die Identifizierung, Ausschreibung, Auswahl und Steuerung externer Auftragnehmer, Partner und BeratungenDu repräsentierst RWE Offshore selbstbewusst weltweit auf Konferenzen und Tagungen - z.B. in Branchenverbänden, bei Stakeholder-Diskussionen auf EU- und nationaler Ebene - durch proaktives Networking, Teilnahme an Konferenzpanels und Präsentationen. Du engagierst dich für Austausch und Vernetzung mit akademischen Institutionen, Naturschutzgruppen, Investoren und PartnernNachwuchskräfte im Team unterstützt du gerne bei ihrem Wachstum und du steuerst ein internes Netzwerk für BiodiversitätsexpertenDarüber hinaus bist du an zusätzlichen Aktivitäten und deren Entwicklung im Einklang mit der Offshore-Nachhaltigkeitsstrategie und -zielen involviert

Dein Profil

Du verfügst über einen Hochschulabschluss z.B. in Ingenieurwissenschaften, Umweltwissenschaften, Biologie oder Ökologie, Betriebswirtschaft oder einer vergleichbaren Disziplin idealerweise mit Expertise in der EnergiewirtschaftZudem hast du langjährige einschlägige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Nachhaltigkeitsberatung und/oder in vergleichbaren Nachhaltigkeitsstellen mit erkennbarer Expertise zu (mariner) Biodiversität oder Ökologie, Habitat-Management und -Monitoring im internationalen UmfeldDu überzeugst uns mit nachweislichen Erfahrungen in der Koordination von Projekten mit funktionsübergreifenden Projektteams und verschiedenen internen sowie externen Stakeholdern auf internationaler EbeneDu bist gerne Teil eines Teams. Deine Arbeitsweise ist selbständig, strukturiert und gewissenhaftDarüber hinaus punktest du mit deinen sehr guten Kommunikationsfähigkeiten, Überzeugungskraft und einem sicherem Auftreten, auch in einem internationalen UmfeldDeine authentische Begeisterung für Nachhaltigkeit inklusive Trends, relevante Rahmenwerke und Instrumente ist für andere spürbar.
