Director Finance Business Partner

Danish Crown is currently going through a Finance Transformation, shifting from a historical and transactional approach to a more forward-looking one. We are implementing a united performance model which enables us to measure and compare profitability across the entire value chain using harmonized performance metrics to make data driven decisions and capitalize synergies. This will strengthen the collaboration, transparency, and increase business strategy and performance among Danish Crown. Your role as finance business partner will be to drive the transformation/change management agenda within your area and making it live in the organization.

You will be part of our newly formed performance management department in Danish Crown Business Unit. The newly established performance management teams cover all aspects of our value chain from finance, sales, production, sustainability, member services, CAPEX, and logistics. Our success is to connect financial and business knowledge to drive value creation adding insights to the strategic agenda in each business area. 

Demonstrate business expertise and act as a trusted finance partner
You will join a dedicated finance partnering team and your overall responsibility will be to act as finance business partner director for our production in DK & abroad in Danish Crown. You take the lead in all operational and performance driven topics related to production. You are an equal member of the leadership team in one of our production areas in Fresh or Processed production where you support, challenge the business, and use your business understanding to secure production excellence & create growth. 

Your tasks will amongst other include:
• act as a trusted CFO for the SVP of either Fresh or Processed Production
• Manager for finance managers at our DK sites  You will be leading a team of 15-25 FTEs with approx. 4 direct reports.
• close collaboration with the local finance teams on all sites in Sweden, France, UK, Netherlands, Germany & China. 
• securing best practices and standardization among all sites in Danish Crown BU
• take the lead and drive any operational/financial topics related to your scope. 
• you will drive the performance management agenda by supporting and challenging management reporting stakeholders on topics like variances, conversion costs, OEE, Fixed Cost, CAPEX, production complexity, Business Cases, budget/forecast assumptions, and general operational decisions.
• drive Financial Planning Processes in production and secure the interlink to our commercial agenda and member services.
• drive key business performance concepts and financial KPI´s 
• collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights.
• extended travel in DK and abroad is to be expected.
 
Relationship-focused profile with strong business understanding
We expect you to have a track record within finance business partnering roles. Alternative, you have proven track record in a senior finance position within a larger multi-site company. You are known for you excellent production savvy and financial expertise among your stakeholders. You are able to bring various standpoints to discussion without losing integrity and create value adding insight to drive and support decisions. Success criteria in this role is to create and maintain good relations among key stakeholders and take the lead in difficult and complex matters. Basically, be a role model that leads by example. 

Moreover, you;
• have a master within business or finance 
• are critically evaluating information, generating solutions, and using facts, logic, and experience to support decisions.
• strong financial toolbox with core financial process experience and expertise
• have a proven ability to navigate complexity, both in terms of factory footprint and topics.
• are fluent in English and Danish, both spoken and written, is essential. German is an advantage but not a requirement.
• must expect 30-40 travel days per year, and go abroad 4-5 times within a year.
