Job Description
Are you curious about building innovative software solutions that support LEGO® production around the world? Join us and play a role in delivering digital tools that connect directly with our production machinery, helping to bring LEGO® sets to life
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and levels of experience, including those who are early in their career or looking to grow in the software engineering space. Whether you’re just starting out or ready for your next challenge, we want to hear from you
Core responsibilities- Collaborate with a team to develop, operate, and maintain scalable software solutions used in LEGO® factories worldwide.

- Learn and explore new technologies to continuously improve our platforms and processes.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, learn how to build secure code and understand security/privacy by design.
- Work with more experienced engineers who will help guide and mentor you as you grow your skills.
- Travel occasionally to LEGO® production sites to see your work in action (up to 4 times a year).
You will help deliver software and technology to manufacturing sites, which is crucial in evolving and delivering digital solutions supporting the production of exciting LEGO® sets. The products are interacted directly to the physical machines. The systems we develop are homegrown, and we work with objectives and key results to set the team up for success. Currently there are 7 members of the team where all work as a software engineer.

- Growth: We offer a strong mentoring program and ample opportunities for professional development.
- Collaboration: Work with a diverse, inclusive team that values innovative ideas and a fresh perspective.
- 1-3 years of experience in software development.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, event-driven architecture, or microservices (experience with one or more of these is a bonus but not essential).

- Exposure to container technologies (like Docker or Kubernetes).
- Front-end frameworks like React or Blazor.
- Exploration of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Finding roots to data processing tools (e.g., Databricks) or streaming technologies (e.g., Apache Pulsar).
- How to build high-quality REST APIs.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
