Lead IT Architect for Data Protection and Data Management Programme

We are looking for a Lead IT Architect for the Data Protection and Data Management Programme in Danske Bank, where we are responsible for being compliant with Data Protection (GDPR).

The Data Protection and Data Management Programme was established to ensure that Danske Bank Group protects and manages data in the best way possible according to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The programme contains several initiatives related to governance, solutions and tooling that will support Danske Bank group to further strengthen Data Protection and Data Management.

The position will provide you with broad experience and insight into Danske Bank. You will be given the opportunity to define the programme target and support the development of a team with highly skilled and committed colleagues.


Use your skills and share your knowledge with us

As Lead IT Architect, you will be responsible for the adherence to enterprise-wide architecture principles and standards, including aligningment of these across the bank and making them come to life. You will define Data Protection and Data Management programme target architecture and drive portfolio planning and road mapping. This involves participation in cross-programme coordination efforts in order to avoid sub-optimization and redundant development in the bank. More specific, you will:

Identify systemic architectural challenges such as simplification, innovation, realisation of synergies and optimisation Have thrive on solving inter-unit (tribe) dependencies and priorities and secure that we all work towards optimising the bank and not just your unit (tribe) Visualise and explain the target architecture of the area and its realisation within EA guardrails Define and work with target architecture as well as describe target architectures and roadmap Stakeholder dialogue across the different areas and breaking down silos Liaise with other area architects, especially for interacting domains and their capabilities


About you

To ensure a good match, we imagine that you have:

At least 8-10 years of experience as a hands-on architect, and significant experience as a lead architect for large cross-domain efforts with many dependencies Experience in architecting enterprise class solutions and a deep knowledge and hands-on experience in domain driven design, logical data modelling, micro-services and event driven architectures Experience across a wide range of technologies and platforms and the ability to leverage this breadth of knowledge of software practices and tools to produce and evolve high quality architectural designs Good understanding of security and other non-functional aspects of enterprise computing in an open system environment Experience with interpretation and implementation of regulatory based requirements
