How to contribute to our vision

As (Senior) Buyer Logistic Procurementyou are working within a day across all lifecycle stages of commercial opportunities. By analyzing spend and contract data, you identify commercial opportunities to drive Siemens Energy / Siemens Gamesa forward. With your creative und pragmatic ideas you can develop plans to exploit these commercial opportunities. Your collaborative way-of-working while developing these plans with cross-functional stakeholders makes you a valued member of our team. Furthermore, you have the ability to negotiate your plans with suppliers and get your targets through. Additionally, you have a good feeling for business and stakeholder needs to satisfy their demands.

Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to

Procurement activities for medium to high Purchasing Volumes (PVO) Implement Commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of services Ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to achieve high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems) Monitor the markets worldwide to create a basis for deciding the optimum sourcing strategy and cooperation with the best suppliers Define and implement Procurement strategies (which are not covered by Commodity strategies) based on conducted demand, market and supplier analysis to ensure long-term, cost-efficient and reliable on-time supply of services in the required quality Prepare and conduct negotiations for medium to high Purchasing Volumes to obtain highest feasible savings; Generate, document and implement savings, e.g. CNI Contract creation and management. Plan, monitor and report on relevant KPI to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (requisitions) to ensure customer care and early involvement Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification) Update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency

What you need to make a difference

You have relevant professional experience within the areas of strategic procurement, supply chain or project management Comprehensive experience in commodities such as Logistic Procurement and/or Operational Logistic (Sea-freight, Road, CEP, Air, Warehousing&3PL, Custom brokers) Experience in sourcing activities, tender preparation and execution You must be able to negotiate legal contracts, framework agreements and conduct business term and price negotiations utilizing various types of advanced negotiation concepts, including e-bidding and e-auctions You are a dedicated team player with personnel skills thriving in a dynamic, international environment and assume accountability and ownership, are independent, open minded and proactive Experience working in cross functional and international teams You are a networker and have excellent skills in stakeholder management You have a relevant University degree or have alternatively successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship and long-term experience in commercial functions
