As Director of Information Security you will be responsible for providing both oversight and direction for management of information security risks across the organization with particular focus on establishing, maintaining, and overseeing the security policies and processes to ensure information assets and technologies are protected, but also loss control measures, safety, disaster, and recovery.

As a global leader in intelligent cleaning solutions, Nilfisk operates at the intersection of innovation and security. From connecting machines to networks to facilitating direct customer transactions via e-commerce platforms, also having multiple ERP and mobile systems in play, our digital ecosystem demands meticulous attention to security.

You will be working closely with the executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization, and you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a corporate-wide information security management program.

You can be based in either our IT Innovation and Business Services Hub in Budapest or our HQ in the Copenhagen area, you'll lead a small team of 2 experts, with plans for strategic growth with additional 4 new colleagues (Governance Specialist, Security Architect, Awareness Lead and Risk Management Specialist)

You will be part of the global group IT organization consisting of approx. employees, and you will be reporting to the group CIO.

As our new Director of Information Security your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes

  • Develop and enhance an information security management framework

  • Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to raise awareness of risk management concerns

  • Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology and systems

  • Work with the Indirect Procurement to ensure that information security requirements are included in vendor contracts

  • Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive information security program to ensure appropriate levels of confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety, privacy and recovery of information assets owned, controlled and processed by the organization

  • Oversee planning and response to internal and third-party information security audits and serve a primary point of contact

  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure that the organization maintains a strong security posture

  • Embedding Information Security into our development process and products in collaboration with R&D
