In a highly dynamic and globalized market, the Plant Product Market Strategy Team is a part of the Onshore Product Market Strategy, which sets the direction for future commercial product offerings and makes sure that Vestas always has the right products. We collaborate globally across Vestas and have a strong reach in our sales regions and customers.
In everything we do, we have a commercial and customer-oriented approach. We are measured by the impact our products have on Vestas' profitability and our ability to continuously improve marketability.

We are responsible for aligning the Product Strategy globally across our Sales Business Units to support local market growth, considering the dynamics of the global market for renewable solutions.
With a very central role in Vestas, we make meaningful, real-world impact through our work. We cultivate employee performance and growth by providing an inclusive, motivating environment with collaboration at its core.

Responsibilities  

You will be part of the Plant Product Market Strategy Team with the responsibilities of guiding the understanding of the energy markets globally and defining a related market roadmap that guides Vestas to deliver the right energy solutions. The core elements of this will be:

Build business models that fit the changing market landscape, including the development of value-capturing models

Facilitate the understanding of developments in the plant market landscape and market value drivers, considering changes in customer, financing and regulatory landscapes across short, mid and long-term horizons globally. This to both:

Define our product market strategy outlook within the plant area in close collaboration with the corporate strategy function

Build and implement commercialization strategies and early market adoption for new product offerings

Take part in defining and prioritizing our energy solutions market roadmap.

Qualifications  

You thrive on setting direction in a complex environment with specific business impacts

You have more than 5 years of experience in energy markets, ideally from the customer side

You have experience pricing and taking SW-based solutions to market

Ideally, you will:

Understanding of a similar industry's product portfolio, business model, business drivers, and value chain 

You know how to address different types of customers with different needs.

Have experience from, for instance utility, regulator, equipment manufacturer or trading side 

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or economics, or potentially an engineering education with demonstrated commercial exposure

Proven experience of delivering solid results and working with a wide range of stakeholders 

Ideally, you have experience working for a complex, international company and are used to working across both diverse cultures and time zones

Competencies  

Strategic mindset with the ability to comprehend and define future requirement scenarios

Structured approach to your work and to how you document your conclusions 

Good collaborator and a great networker who appreciates working with many stakeholders

Have the power to influence and question the status quo internally and externally

Possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English (oral and written)
