The Position

As a Tax Advisor, you will provide tax support to our Strategic Sourcing organisation within Product Supply by:

Partnering with the business providing solution-oriented tax advice to support the sourcing and supply chain processes Standardising the tax operating models as we are expanding, and consequently, the complexity of our business is increasing Actively be contributing to process improvements within your scope of work

The position will serve as the primary liaison between the Strategic Sourcing organisation and Corporate Tax. Therefore, you need to realise when you can independently manage tasks and when it's appropriate to seek expertise from your specialized colleagues in Corporate Tax within different areas of specialty.

The job will be based out of our HQ in Bagsværd, Denmark. You will spend three days a week collaborating with the Strategic Sourcing organization and two days working alongside your colleagues in Corporate Tax.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

Master’s degree within tax, business law, finance, or similar relevant education Proven track record working in a broad range of tax aspects such as corporate income tax, international tax, VAT, and customs duties from private and public sectors Knowledge about tax within both direct and indirect taxes, and legal requirements within the tax legislation Proficiency in English with strong communication skills Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills, and well-founded documentation practices

On a personal level, you are known for your integrity and strong interpersonal skills enabling you to create trust with your stakeholders. You have a high level of drive, and strong sense of responsibility and know how to make things simplified and understandable to people at all levels within the organisation. Furthermore, we expect you to ensure compliance, timely delivery, and high quality, while being proactive and able to handle complexity.

About the department

In Novo Nordisk’s Corporate Tax department, we are 17 dedicated employees working in teams within transfer pricing, tax reporting and controversy (corporate taxation) and indirect taxes. You will be part of the Tax Reporting and Controversy team in Corporate Tax, where you refer to the director of the team.

Further to this, you will be part of the Global Tax organisation encompassing around 70 employees worldwide.
