Help deliver new and better innovative products to the markets

Joining us in our Coloplast HQ in Humlebæk, you will become part of the R&D and Life Cycle Management team, which consists of 13 highly competent and dedicated collogues. Together with other functions in Coloplast, we support the CCP business. CCP is responsible for developing premium plasters under the brands Compeed, Band-Aid and Neutrogena for the companies Perrigo and Kenvue (J&J), which market these products worldwide.

Take center stage in the product development process
To support the CCP area of our business, we are looking for a Material Scientist, who is skilled within applied polymer material technologies and who gets motivated by handling different tasks within the product development process as required.
As a R&D Material Scientist, you will participate in cross-functional projects with the aim of developing innovative consumer care products. We are committed to delivering new products and supporting "Life Cycle Management" of our existing product portfolio. This includes creating and upgrading design control documentation in close collaboration with customers. You will be able to plan your own tasks according to the overall project timelines and ensure that your results are delivered on time and meets the expected quality.

Broad knowledge of materials and ability to work in a dynamic environment
To become a success in the role, you have a broad knowledge of materials, and you have a good understanding of the related manufacturing processes. You understand the interaction between different materials used in products and the way they contribute to overall product performance.

. or . within polymers, materials or chemistry or comparable education Knowledge and experience working with polymers and other materials Knowledge and experience working with physical test methods for materials, such as mechanical characterization Knowledge within statistical methods and tools for data evaluation Able to comprehend and use data in scientific texts to support product documentation  Able to create well-structured and well-written technical/scientific documents for internal and external use Familiar with the product development value chain Communicate efficiently in written and verbal English 

It’s an advantage if you have: 

Knowledge on Design Control requirements for Medical Device Products  Knowledge and experience working with adhesive systems  Knowledge within test method development and validation
