Lenus is looking for a Legal Counsel for our Copenhagen office

Who are we looking for? 

Responsibilities

Assist the rest of the team to identify, assess, and advise on legal risk with a “less legal more people” mindset.Research legal issues related to AI, privacy, consumer protection legislation, and much more depending on Lenus' needsManage a substantial volume of commercial contracts, making adjustments to our templates as needed. You'll often collaborate with our enthusiastic sales team, who have high expectations and tight deadlines. Work with the rest of the team to identify and implement the newest legal tech.

 

Qualifications

You are a recent Cand.merc.(jur.) or Cand.jur., graduate with up to one year of relevant experience.You have a strong interest in privacy regulations, such as the GDPR, and IT law, including relevant EU regulations.Some experience drafting and negotiating IT contracts is a plus.You have a go-getter, optimistic attitude, a desire to learn quickly, and you're ready to contribute to Lenus' success from day one.You have a pragmatic approach to creative legal problem-solving, including researching novel and ambiguous legal areas.The ideal candidate should be comfortable with routine tasks and effectively handling the fast-paced demands of internal stakeholders.You appreciate autonomy and flexibility in your work, and enjoy the option to join a yoga class in the morning or play padel in the afternoon.
