Business Risk & Controls Officer, Asset Management Business Controls, Large Corporates & Institutions Business Controls & Product Management

We are looking for a Business Risk & Controls Officer, who will be a significant contributor to executing the work of the Business Controls & Product Management team for Asset Management. 

The Asset Management Business Controls & Product Management team is part of the Business Controls and Product Management (BC&PM) unit in Large Corporates & Institutions (LC&I). The objective of BC&PM is to protect products, processes, systems, data and services from risks across different environments to bring value to customers and society.

Engage with stakeholders and evolving responsibilities 

As a Business Risk & Controls Officer, you will advise business stakeholders on the identification, assessment and management of key risks within their areas. The team covers non-financial Risks, including Regulatory, Operational, and Data risk, as well as Conduct and Sustainability risk drivers.

Furthermore, you will provide support to key business stakeholders, and other BC&PM teams on risk matters, and be their sparring partner on day-to-day risk issues, business control development or procedure improvement. 

Key tasks will include: 

Supporting the business in the identification, assessment, mitigation and management of Non-Financial Risks Supporting the Asset Management business in incidence management and oversight thereof Supporting Risk & Control Self-assessments (RCSAs) and New and Amended Product Approvals (NAPAs) ensuring all relevant Non-Financial risks are identified and that Regulatory, Reputational, Customer and Financial Impacts are appropriately rated and managed Providing input to and supporting the preparation of reporting to Senior Management and Risk Committees Maintaining knowledge of key regulations and best industry practices for managing Non-Financial risks, including supporting risk awareness in the business Supporting the Asset Management business in the implementation of relevant Policies and Instructions

Your background

We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience working with risk, operations, or other related experience, for example in asset management/banking, fund custodian/trustee. In addition, we imagine that you have following qualifications:

Relevant degree in economics, law or finance discipline (or equivalent) Experience with Non-Financial risk management and Enterprise Risk Management frameworks Ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders Proactive approach while taking ownership of assigned tasks

Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Fluency in a Scandinavian language is desirable. In addition, we imagine that you have following qualifications:
