This is a hybrid position with possibilities to partly work remotely
The Position
As our new accounting finance compliance partner, you will work with key stakeholders and colleagues from the project controls teams in the major investment projects at site Kalundborg as well as important stakeholders in our corporate positions. You will ensure audit readiness and support project teams in internal and external financial audits and inquiries. You are also going to be responsible for bringing necessary awareness of business ethics principles to the projects.
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring that financial fraudulent and regulatory financial compliance risks have been identified, properly mitigated and that the team adhere to the internal accounting policies.
Collaborate with (GIA) Group Internal Audit and other corporate teams to determine best practices and ensure all policies and procedures are updated to reflect current situation
Drive and monitor the Internal Control framework including performing necessary process confirmations.
Support the design of the depreciation strategy and outlining of asset capitalisation strategy for the projects for when the assets are taken into operation.
Providing training and guidance to team members and other relevant stakeholders on compliance policies and procedures
In this role you will become trusted and valuable business partner to PS API Expansion organization and other stakeholders. As a key team member, you'll play a vital role in cultivating and nurturing relationships across our entire organization.
This position is located in Kalundborg, Denmark. However, the position is flexible, and it is possible to work from other locations some days per week.
Qualifications
We are looking for an auditor or someone who has similar experiences and who gets energy out of working with translating accounting rules and international accounting standards into practises and make it understandable for the rest of the project organisation.
We imagine that you have:
A bachelor’s in finance, accounting, economics or in another related field.
At least 3 years of public accounting or auditing experience from a larger corporation. Ideally experiences from working with capex projects.
Ability to demonstrate effective stakeholder management and change management skills within all levels in an organization.
Professional proficiency in English, and ability to read and understand Danish is a requirement.
Great communication skills, both in writing and oral English.
On a personal level, you are known for your professionalism, integrity, and trustworthiness. You have strong analytical skills, as well as a process improvement and problem-solving mindset. You are collaborative by nature but, when necessary, you are willing to challenge the status quo in a constructive manner. Moreover, you have a can do attitude, and can manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You are flexible in situations of uncertainty and open to change, and you can work independently.

In Product Supply Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (PS API) we produce the insulin and GLP-1 used to treat diabetes and obesity patients all over the world. Expanding our capacity to serve even more patients is rapidly transforming and expanding our sites and number of production facilities.
