Renewable Energy Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Counsel to join our team at Better Energy A/S. As a key member of our Legal Finance team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the financing of our renewable energy projects and other related tasks.

• Act as the project responsible legal counsel on loan transactions, working closely with our team, external lawyers, and partners from banks and other lenders.
• Review and draft loan documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with reviewing and negotiating guarantee facilities and guarantees.
• Provide expert advice to our colleagues across professional backgrounds and jurisdictions, identifying legal issues and solutions.

• A first-year attorney-at-law, senior assistant attorney, or legal counsel with at least two years of relevant experience in banking and financing, preferably with experience in loan transactions and LMA-based loan documentation.
• Excellent language skills in Danish and English, enabling seamless communication and negotiation.
• Experience with project financing is a plus.
• Strong commercial mindset, ability to work independently, and excellent time management skills.
