How to contribute to our vision  

As a Purchaser, your responsibilities will be to purchase tools, transport and lifting equipment for offshore installation turbines, follow up on deliveries, confirmations, cost and quality. You will also be part of optimization projects and will have opportunity to have an impact on cost optimization.

Your responsibilities will include:

Responsible for KPI fulfillment on own product/supplier portfolio

Creation and follow up on purchasing orders towards suppliers to ensure on time delivery to warehouses globally. 

Participate in Commodity strategies implementation projects to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

Contributes to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems).

Generate, document and implement savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.

Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers to ensure customer care and early involvement.

Provides supplier information to the project and conducts project-specific supplier evaluations (project evaluations).

What you need to make a difference  

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Value chain, Logistics, Procurement or equivalent or similar in combination with thorough practical experience with:

3-5 years of experience within logistics, procurement or purchase.

Experience with communication with suppliers and strong negotiation skills.

Good in planning and prioritization.

You are result-oriented, motivated, and good at navigating in a varied and complex working environment.

You are a team member with great collaboration skills (you will have a very broad interface - both internally and externally - and will work closely with people from all over the organization and on all organizational levels)

You are self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Strong Excel skills are essential and the ability to combine various extracts from SAP.

You should be ready to travel (mainly to our offices in Denmark) around 20 days a year.

It is a big advantage if you thrive in a multi-cultural environment and are familiar with working in large organizations. It is therefore important that you have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. 

Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
