We are recruiting a Commercial Analyst for the Commercial team to be part of the Nordic office in
Flying Tiger Copenhagen. You will become a part of an international organization, with a global perspective but local focus, and you will be working with colleagues in both the Nordics office and the headquarter in Copenhagen. The main responsibility for the Commercial team is to evaluate, plan and manage the product assortment for all Flying Tiger Copenhagen stores in Nordics. This includes all aspects of range management, pricing, and logistics. In other words, the Commercial team decides which products you will find in the Flying Tiger Copenhagen stores in Nordics, we manage the prices, and ensure the goods are delivered on time, while managing the local stock. Moreover, we work closely with Visual Merchandising and Marketing on executing campaigns, promotions, and general business improvement projects.
As a Commercial Analyst, you will take on the analytical role, ensure thorough data analysis, challenge findings, seek understanding, draw conclusions, and ensure documentation and communication to the relevant stakeholders. A key responsibility is managing our product lifecycle by conducting comprehensive analyses and managing prices for all five markets. You will be responsible for our weekly and monthly sales analysis that provides the basis not only for deciding on short-term activations but is the core for making our future purchase of the product assortment 9 months ahead. Moreover, supporting our local teams both in markets and at Nordic office with various ad hoc analyses will be a high priority.
As we continuously strive to improve our business your tasks may vary greatly in terms of complexity and scope, dependent on your seniority and preferences. However, you will be part of a small team, striving to develop and provide solid analysis for key business decisions, for the highest prioritized business projects, collaborating across functions and with management.

We are looking for a committed and ambitious colleague who is eager to develop. For the right candidate, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, high energy level and persistence, the opportunities to grow are plenty.
First of all, you must be a strong and structured commercial analyst with a solid analytical background from e.g. controlling or commercial analysis. Besides easily managing, structuring, and analyzing large amount of data, you also challenge your findings and communicate conclusions in timely and professional deliveries. Secondly, to thrive in the position, you must have a natural curiosity for understanding the business in detail as this is key for delivering successfully.
Our candidate has a relevant business education and 3+ years of experience from similar positions in controlling, commercial analyst, business analysis or has been exposed to various commercial projects in a large company or business development function. You are a strong communicator, an
experienced user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), and proficient in English, both orally and in writing, and preferably in a Nordic language as well.

The Commercial team is a part of the Nordic office which is a team of ~25 colleagues who supports the Nordic markets. We manage 150 stores in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, as a fully owned entity under the global headquarter in Copenhagen.
