Join us in this role where you’ll ensure that the architecture of QHSE, Information Management, and some OT Asset Application support effective architecture practices and general architectural artefacts in alignment with our strategy and vision. You’ll also ensure that the priorities are in line with our key stakeholders’ vision to utilise the value creation of the application portfolio.

Welcome to Architecture & Technology
You’ll be part of our Application Customization & Operations delivery organisation architectural group where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of the overall Architecture and Technology community that consists of more than 100 architects across all agile delivery organisations who will be working alongside the business. We oversee the largest application and technology portfolio, which covers deliveries to, e.g., our power producing assets, like offshore and onshore windfarms, bio plants, and solar. As a team, we’re involved in building a sustainable green energy company, with diverse culture around the globe whilst ensuring great cohesion and collaboration to build a successful Architecture community.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • establishing and overseeing the architectural discipline within portfolio applications of QHSE, Information Management, and OT Asset applications that run on power plant and wind parks
  • evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and platforms for the solution
  • developing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices and ensuring that the solution meets performance
  • creating and maintaining the architectural runway and roadmaps collaborating with vendors architect and aligning with our technology platform in collaboration with the Solution Manager
  • facilitating and describing non-functional requirements for an upcoming application tender as well as the core platform and engaging in dialogue with the vendor lead architects
  • driving the process of implementing new technology when identified as plausible to meet business, mapping system integrations, and identifying deviations from best practices.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have solid understanding of architecture and design principles, breadth understanding of technology domains, such as IT/ OT and on-prem/cloud, and experience with different types of solutions
  • demonstrate excellent vendor management, application operations, and tender processes skills
  • have efficient communication skills for conveying architectural designs and decisions to team members, business stakeholders, and IT stakeholders
  • demonstrate the ability to communicate the complexity of technical programs.
