Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow
To oversee and manage all aspects within the VAT area across our international operations, we are looking for a Group VAT Manager to join our Group Tax team. Group Tax is working and assisting the entire Group with Danish and international tax compliance, project related tax and VAT matters, tax, and VAT audits and more. The position is newly created within COWI.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and implement VAT processes and controls to strengthen and ensure that our Tax Policy is embedded in business operations,
  • Provide advice on international projects,
  • Establish and strengthen processes to ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT returns in all relevant jurisdictions,
  • Support on requests from tax authorities and during tax audits,
  • Monitor changes in VAT legislation and assess their impact on the company.

On top of that, you will have:

  • A master’s degree in law, commercial law, accounting or similar,
  • Solid experience with VAT and other indirect taxes on international services,
  • Professional proficiency in English and Danish – written and spoken.
