Design Advisor to inspire and guide homeowners

Your challenges

At our office in Hørsholm, you will join our local advisory team focused on the Danish and Nordic markets. You will become part of our new consumer services department and a team of highly innovative and skilled colleagues. The role as Design Advisor will report directly to the Advisory Services Manager.

As our new Design Advisor, you will act as personal advisor for our customers – mainly by phone, email and virtual consultations. Based on dialogue and materials provided by the customers, you will identify their dreams and needs, understand the project scope and offer relevant design advise for the building project - thereby also driving sales.

More specifically, you will:

Listen to and collect information from customers to understand their dreams and needs of their project.

Ensure a full understanding of terms around; construction requirements, visual and aesthetic desires, functional needs and budget and economics in the project.

Inspire our customers on daylight solutions and product guidance based on your insights and knowledge.

Define and recommend the best daylight solution and request visualization package from colleagues doing the visual rendering of the solution.

Provide relevant product and service information to simplify their building process.

Take full ownership of the customer´s journey and experience.

Your qualifications

You are service-minded and excited about delivering high quality and commercially focused interactions with customers. Your curiosity and advanced communication skills help you to successfully tap into customer needs and utilize your insights to provide suitable design recommendations.

You have great people skills and you appreciate acting in an outgoing role where you easily build effective relationships whether it is face-to-face, on the telephone, or via email. You quickly connect with people and your approach creates trust. You actively propose, recommend, and guide the way, but you understand that to succeed, you need to be an even stronger listener.

With your structured approach and attention to details, you never lose sight of a customer project, and you understand that delivering the agreed within the deadline is crucial for this role.

Furthermore, you:

Have experience in advising customers in the Danish or Nordic market related to home-improvement, e.g. as kitchen design advisor, interior design advisor, architectural building design advisor or similar.

Possess a sales-mindset and the ability to close a sale and at the same time ensure that the customer is getting the best possible solution.

Hold well-developed questioning techniques to ensure in-depth understanding of customer needs.

Have a curious mind-set and are excited to learn about our product portfolio and offerings.

Have solid IT-skills and experience working with CRM-systems.

You can communicate in Danish and English on a professional level, in both written and spoken.
