We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal IT Project Manager to successfully steer projects from scoping to execution on global IT projects together with colleagues from Group IT, business units, and local offices across the world.


You will be an integrated part of Group IT longer term planning, architecture and design based on agreed strategies and technical roadmap. It is therefore expected that you have a solid understanding of Information technology across applications, infrastructure, and cloud services. Furthermore, you have experience from the intersection between management consultancy and IT project management, and you know first-hand that a good solution is only half the work – great communication is the other half.

You will join a small but strong community of 4 other IT Project Managers in the IT Business Enablement team; a team that is responsible for the strategic direction of Group IT and execution thereof. Our projects vary from upgrades of existing applications, new infrastructure, implementation of new systems, InfoSec remediation, change management or a combination of it all.

What you will be responsible for

Leading and executing global and cross-functional IT projects of various sizes, complexity, and duration

Proactively managing scope, timeline, quality, budget, risks, issues and actions

Building detailed plans with milestone, deliverables and dependencies

Collaborating with external vendors to establish, maintain, and deliver according to plan

Organizing, prioritizing, and delegating work. Motivating team members to meet project goals

Communicating to different audiences across hierarchy levels e.g., executives, Steering Committees, teams, vendors, users etc.

As this is a senior role in the team and Group IT, you are expected to act as a strong sparring partner for stakeholders, team, and senior management

What we value (our requirements)

A degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar

Experience with implementation of IT projects in a global organization, preferably in both waterfall and agile IT environments

Experience from management consulting, business development, or similar areas that require a strategic mindset and customer-centricity

Solid knowledge and experience with the IT Project Management toolbox and organizational change management

Consulting toolkit, critical thinking and structured problem-solving

Great interpersonal skills and the ability to encourage and motivate teams and peers

Certification is relevant delivery frameworks (PRINCE2, PMP, SAFe, ITIL, etc.)

Diligent PowerPoint skills and the ability to create compelling storytelling

Responsible as an individual yet an excellent team player that fosters a positive work environment

Excellent communication skills in English

Experience with RFI / RFP processes is a plus
