Vestas Global Offshore Business Plan is anchored in the Global Sales (CSO) area but works E2E with the full value chain and with a high level of autonomy, responsibility, exposure and focus from higher management.

The Offshore Business Plan program steers mid- to long-term strategic and commercial planning, keeping our strategic vision at the forefront: How can Vestas become a global leader in offshore? The mission is to interconnect and align mid- to long-term functional and regional offshore plans into a unified Vestas Offshore Business Plan, where the team is steering and providing recommendations for decisions.

Our mandate involves complex existing paradigms, posing critical questions, and offering guidance and recommendations for enhancements throughout the offshore business landscape to strengthen Vestas' roadmap in the offshore sector.

As a key tool to steer the business, we run quarterly business plan updates that are governed by our senior offshore management team and report to Executive Management and the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager for our Global Offshore Business Plan, you will have an integral part in developing the future of Vestas offshore business and be part of a skilled and enthusiastic team.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Vestas' Global Offshore Business Plan, you will, as a Senior Manager be responsible for:

Guiding the program planning and facilitation towards the senior offshore leadership and executive leadership teams in Vestas Design a project management setup and cockpit to facilitate strategy execution and status report out Leading high-stake strategic and commercial projects in collaboration with the functional and regional expertise areas Problem solve, provide recommendations and implement initiatives related to the mid- to long-term development of Vestas' offshore business plan Strategy deployment, communication, and alignment with a broad range of internal as well as external stakeholders

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, we expect you to be an experienced consultant or project manager with experience gained in ideally heavy industrial, construction or manufacturing industries.

Preferably a minimum of 5 years of experience in management consulting, speciality consulting or large in-house consulting, working with business analysis, strategy development, or implementation Consistently oversee large projects, programs, or strategic projects in complex business areas Demonstrated understanding of industry complexity from a financial, competitive, commercial, operational, technological, and regulatory perspective Experience from working in a complex, international corporate culture Relevant education at Master level Fluency in English, orally and in writing

Competencies Comfortable interacting with senior and executive management; directing decision-making and guiding complex discussions in an efficient, fact-based manner

Proactive and with a high drive combined with high ethical and compliance standards Structured problem solver with the ability to set the agenda and keep the overview in a complex and busy organization Pragmatic and capable of actively facilitating problem-solving through excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills Solid top-down communication skills (verbal, written and visual) Cultural affinity and a great portion of interpersonal skills

Additional Information  

Anticipated travel for this position is expected to be around days a year.
