EHS Supporter to Warehouse

The position
We are pleased to offer you an exciting position that involves a wide variety of tasks supporting the Business Support organization, mainly the Warehouse and Material Handling departments at IFP Hillerød within Environment, Health, and Safety. You will become a key player at the organization and have collaboration with the several management teams, Health, and Safety representatives (HSR), EHS partners and other stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing support within EHS to all Warehouse & Material handling teams

Ensuring high safety standards and active prevent work to prevent accidents in the area

Following up on and driving EHS activities focusing on continuous improvement as well as on EHS targets 

Ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards within EHS as well as participating in EHS assessments of projects

Assisting in the identification and evaluation of EHS hazards and risks through e.g., WPA (workplace risk assessment) as well as in the investigation of EHS incidents and accidents

Moreover, you will be planning, execution and follow up on audits and inspections in cooperation with other EHS professionals. In this role, you will also maintain EHS records and documentation while closely collaborating with the Health & Safety representatives and Work Wiser’s in the department.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with an outgoing, pragmatic approach, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to learn and work in a team which has several areas of responsibility at IFP Hillerød. 

To succeed in this role, you have:

An academic degree in engineering, technical education, or other relevant education within EHS

At least 2 years of experience related to general working environmental tasks; preferably, you have experience from working in a production company, construction site, or offshore

Stakeholder management skills and you know how to integrate and communicate with different people in an agile environment

Experience with data analysis and reporting as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and preferably EHS software

Fluency in both written and spoken English and Danish

On a professional level, you bring the motivation for solving technical tasks related to the buildings, but also tasks related to organizational changes in addition to the working environment. We also expect that you understand the importance of accurate and timely documentation for safety and quality control.

You enjoy sharing knowledge and have a quality mindset and solution-focused attitude to achieve results whilst keeping strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.

About the department
The Warehouse and Material Handling department in IFP Hillerød is an ambitious and business-critical area with approx. 150 employees and 7 managers. The site is running a Lean fashion and with just-in-time deliveries, relying on highly automated material handling equipment and systems.
We are currently doubling our capacity with an expressive Warehouse Expansion Project where the team plays a key role.
