Since , we have been involved in more than 1, wind power projects in 70 countries. To strengthen and lead our team, we are looking for a Head of Discipline for our Offshore Wind Primary Structures and Loads section. We are committed colleagues working from Denmark, (Taiwan, Japan and Spain), while collaborating closely with renewable energy colleagues in Germany, Norway, Korea, India, United Kingdom and North America. We work alongside our customers on some of Denmark’s most significant projects and we are thrilled to have contributed to offshore wind farm projects like and Jeonnam, First commercial offshore wind farm in South Korea.

You will support a motivated and innovative section that delivers offshore wind energy solutions and offers full lifecycle services to our customers. In our offshore solutions, we design both floating as well as bottom fixed structures and cover all main design services.We are part of COWI's business line Denmark, supporting a global industry and market. Your key responsibilities will be:

Carrying out the department action plan and strategy. Day-to-day people management, recruitment and onboarding activities as needed. Set clear targets for performance and individual development of your employees. Support project teams to ideal execution of projects. Provide technical leadership on projects, support and feedback to employees. Primary responsible for providing input to resource planning People management of your section, which consists of structural designers and loads specialists

On top of that, you will have:

The ability to develop and enable your staff to deliver great results. Experience steering projects and providing technical guidance and sparring. Hold a degree in civil engineering. Have more than 10 years of relevant experience. Comprehensive experience within the offshore wind sector - particularly in foundation design. Professional proficiency in Danish is beneficial, but not a requirement. A well-established commercial network across the wind industry is beneficial, but not a requirement.
