We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Manager to spearhead our cross-selling initiatives and drive the adoption of our new software products among our existing customer base.

 

Position Overview

 As the Product Marketing Manager - Cross Selling Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through effective cross-selling strategies. Collaborating closely with both the Sales, Marketing and Product teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive cross-sell launch plans, as well as continuously monitoring and optimising the performance of cross-sell initiatives to achieve monthly customer growth and recurring revenue targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with product managers to understand the features, benefits, and target audience of new software products slated for cross-selling within our existing customer base. Develop Cross-Sell Launch Plans: Lead the development of comprehensive launch plans for each new software product, outlining key messaging, positioning strategies, and promotional tactics tailored to the needs and preferences of our target customer segments. Coordinate with Marketing Teams: Partner with the marketing team to ensure alignment of cross-sell initiatives with overall marketing campaigns and messaging strategies. Leverage various marketing channels, including digital marketing, email campaigns, webinars, and leverage all available marketing real estate to maximise visibility and engagement. Execute Go-to-Market Strategies: Drive the execution of cross-sell launch plans, overseeing the implementation of marketing activities, sales enablement materials, and customer communication strategies to effectively promote new software products and generate interest among existing customers. Monitor Performance and Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of cross-sell initiatives, tracking key metrics such as customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue impact. Analyse data and insights to identify opportunities for optimization and refinement of cross-sell strategies. Drive New Customer Volumes: Work towards increasing new customer volumes through targeted cross-selling efforts, leveraging customer segmentation and personalized messaging to drive adoption of new software products among different customer segments. Achieve Monthly Recurring Revenue Targets: Set and achieve monthly recurring revenue targets for cross-sell initiatives, collaborating closely with sales teams to drive upsell opportunities and maximize revenue generation from existing customers.


Qualifications

Preferably a Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in leading a team in product marketing, with a focus on cross-selling strategies within a technology or software environment. Strong understanding of marketing principles and methodologies, with the ability to develop and execute effective go-to-market plans. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to drive data-driven decision-making. Results-oriented with a track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth through cross-selling initiatives. Familiarity with hosting services or SaaS industry trends and competitive landscape is a plus.
