You will be joining a multi-cultural and energetic team of Finance Professionals who are all on the same mission: bringing value to our business. The Nordic Financial Services team consists of four Financial Controllers and an AR/AP specialist. Our Finance organization is fast-moving and professional, yet maintains an informal and collegial tone.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create a large network across global functions and the local organization. As you work towards different deadlines and projects, the workload will vary based on your assignments and responsibilities. You will report to our Nordic Financial Services Manager, who is also based in our head office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Your job
As a Financial Controller, you will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Primary responsible for overseeing and ensuring the reconciliation and accuracy of Nestlé Denmark's financials
• Acting as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for certain accounting processes across our Nordic entities.
• Serving as the bridge in accounting matters between the local organization and our internal financial shared service centers abroad, facilitating effective communication.
• Involvement in day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including the review and approval of payment vouchers and journal entries.
• Taking responsibility for the annual accounts of Nestlé Denmark A/S.
• Ensuring timely quarterly financial reporting to Nestlé Headquarters in Switzerland.
• Ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations within finance.
• Adhering to the financial guidelines of the Nestlé Group.
• Serving as the local point of contact for external audit.
• Participating in and driving business excellence projects.

But we are looking for more than just skills and experience. We want someone with a strong business acumen, who can build robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. We need a communicator, someone who can make complex concepts understandable to all.

Furthermore, we belive you can say yes to the following:

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience within accounting or audit, combined with a university degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, or Finance.
• You have a good knowledge of the Danish Financial Statements Act and IFRS.
• You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Maybe you have experience with SAP and/or experience in the FMCG industry
• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, is required. Fluency in Danish is an advantage, but not required.
