Key duties include:

Playing a crucial role in the delivery team by planning and executing projects efficiently and maintaining high standards of quality.

Taking charge of planning and implementing Transformation-focused projects and initiatives across various teams, working closely with different departments across the organization.

Other important tasks involve:

  • Establishing strong rapport with internal stakeholders
  • Documenting and obtaining approvals for critical success factors and business requirements
  • Creating and executing solutions for complex challenges
  • Organizing workshops with stakeholders of all levels for requirement capture and defining 'as-is' and target states
  • Contributing to strategic planning and ensuring future-proof solutions
  • Providing project reports on status, risks, issues, mitigation plans, and benefits realization
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to address significant process issues affecting delivery, tracking them to resolution with the involved teams
  • Leading the continuous enhancement of processes and procedures
  • Identifying resource needs and optimizing team performance
  • Developing project plans using Excel and Microsoft Project as necessary

Desired qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with extensive experience in a similar role handling finance transformation projects.

You should possess substantial delivery experience and a deep understanding of managing large, complex, global finance transformations over multiple years.

Additionally, familiarity with various project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, Prince2, Hybrid) and a project management certification (e.g. PMP) would be highly beneficial.

Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes, excellent project management abilities, task prioritization skills, and deadline adherence are essential.

Moreover, you should:

  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Display exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Collaborate effectively in a cross-functional setting
  • Show understanding of regulatory requirements in finance and accounting
  • Establish effective relationships and work harmoniously with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments, balance priorities effectively, and exhibit a proactive 'can do' attitude
  • Be resilient, determined, and able to identify and overcome risks and obstacles early on in the project cycle
