Are you an experienced manager with a strong background in accounting and do you have the ability to ensure timeliness and quality in financial processes? Then the job as Finance Manager at Alfa Laval Aalborg A/S might be a position for you.

At Alfa Laval, internal mobility is deeply ingrained in our culture. Our current Finance Manager has progressed within the finance department, necessitating our search for a new Finance Manager experienced in team leadership. With our current Finance Manager remaining within the organization, we ensure a seamless transition into your new role. This position will be located at our office in Aalborg, Denmark, with direct reporting to the Head of Finance.

Alfa Laval Aalborg A/S is the world's leading supplier of marine boilers and is a central site in the Marine Division of Alfa Laval. We employ 340 employees working with sales, manufacturing, R&D, engineering, order execution and service. Turnover is more than 2 bDKK.

Your main responsibility will be to lead and be part of a well-functioning team of dedicated of 8 colleagues and your primary tasks will be:

Ensure timeliness and quality in financial processes, including accounting and reporting. Focus on compliance and corporate governance. Manage main stakeholders, like group finance, auditors, external authorities, etc. Support on financial topics the local organization ie. facility management. Participate in Finance ERP system improvements. Responsible for accurate and appropriate recording of accounting transactions. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures ensuring compliance with statutory and group rules. Responsible for completing full P&L and Balance Sheet as well as securing Group and Statutory Reporting. Responsible for good collaboration with our Auditors, including timely and high-quality material for the audit processes. Process owner for accounting processes ensuring quality and driving improvements.

Your qualifications and experience:

Master's degree in accounting or finance Experienced with strong background in accounting and tax Solid IT competences within MS-Office (Excel, PowerPoint), ERP and business intelligence Experience in managing a team. Preferable a track record from an international engineering and manufacturing businesses Background in auditing from a major auditing company Thrive in a complex matrix organization. Possess profound tactical as well as operational skills. Flued in both English and Danish is a prerequisite for this role.

As a person, you are a positive and committed self-starter and have good implementation skills. You have a very well-developed sense of ownership and come across as a likeable and trustworthy person.

You are a strong team player and have a healthy sense of humor.

In addition, you possess the following skills:

Open, informal, systematic, analytic, and engaged. Well organized and able to work independently towards targets. Good communicator and facilitator. Intercultural understanding and people skills.
