As part of the 2028 strategy, Danske Bank has an ambitious technology strategy. Adopting GenAI is an important element in delivering on the strategy.
We are looking for an IT lead within our newly established GenAI unit. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that we develop the platform in a standardized and easy to consume way to ensure Danske Bank continues to be at the forefront of utilizing GenAI and utilizing the models provided in the market.
As our IT Lead for GenAI, you will lead a multidisciplinary technology team, ensuring a culture of innovation and collaboration. Together with the team, you will be responsible of the overall design and build of the DanskeGPT platform.
Key objectives in the role as IT Lead:
As IT Lead you will oversee the deployment of cutting-edge GenAI technologies and enable integration of DanskeGPT with existing banking systems and infrastructure.
This includes:
- Leading a team of AI specialists, data scientists and engineers to continuously develop and run the DanskeGPT platform
- Advance and optimize the bank's GenAI technology infrastructure
- Collaborate with IT security to ensure AI solutions comply with cybersecurity protocols and data protection standards
- Implement effective compliance and data protection capabilities
- Enable effective monitoring of model performance and consumption
- Cultivate talent and expertise within and outside the GenAI team.
- Leading by our cultural commitments in promoting a culture of transparency, autonomy, and empowerment within the tribe.
We are a new unit working in a scaled agile set-up, who value collaboration and have a very clear delivery commitment and focus. We are a team located in Denmark and India as part of the partnership with Infosys.
Who are we looking for?
We imagine that you have a professional technical background in e.g. computer science, AI, Machine Learning, or a similar field – combined with relevant experience from working with IT solution delivery within a complex technical ecosystem. Ideally you have experience within the financial industry.
Furthermore, we expect you to have:
- Experience with leadership and people management
- Experience in building and operating data / ai platforms
- Demonstrated ability to develop high-performing teams
- Have architectural understanding
- Have experience with Cloud (preferably AWS) and preferably also AI
- Demonstrated ability to deliver in a complex environment
- Experience delivering IT solutions in the financial industry
- Preferably a degree in computer science, artificial intelligence.
