Your role will be vital in reinforcing the framework of Group Risk Management's remuneration oversight and governance.


Our Group Risk Strategy team comprises 12 motivated members who develop and execute the Group Risk Management (GRM) strategic agenda.

Our aim is to support the Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team in business steering from a risk management perspective.

We work on multiple projects with stakeholders across the Group, fostering transformations and ensuring traction on key priorities.

We seek a Chief Risk Analyst to managing the second-line remuneration oversight.

This involves leading and facilitating dialogues and establishing relevant governance documentation to support informed dialogues and decision-making on Danske Bank's remuneration practices.

Additionally, you will be a part of for the annual update and implementation of our Enterprise Risk Management Policy.

Shaping Remuneration Practices and Enhancing Risk Frameworks


As a Chief Risk Analyst, you will be expected to apply your comprehensive risk understanding from both a theoretical and practical perspective.

The role involves focusing on high-priority deliverables, getting acquainted with the broader team portfolio, and leading several key tasks.

These include managing a risk framework and governing documents around second-line oversight of remuneration practices, risk assessments, and Risk & Compliance KPIs.


You will manage project delivery from design phase to implementation, formulating milestones, tracking progress, and ensuring adequate organisational implementation and routine reporting.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the project to strengthen the secondline remuneration oversight framework.
  • Establishing governing documents and reporting structures.
  • Overseeing the Risk & Compliance KPI process.
  • Collaborating with the Business Units, Group HR, Group Compliance, and Group Internal Audit.
  • Preparing analyses, presentations, and memos for the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors.
As a member of our team, you will join a group of highly skilled colleagues.

We are a key resource for the GRM Leadership Team, which requires commitment, managing tight deadlines, and delivering consistently high-quality work.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work on topics of high importance to the entire Group.

To thrive in this role, you should possess previous risk management or governance experience, an understanding of risk taxonomy, and a proactive, innovative, and focused mindset.

You should be able to build collaborative relationships and interact with people across various seniorities and professional backgrounds.

Your qualifications should include:

  • Years of experience in risk management, compliance, the financial services industry, or consulting.
  • Experience with corporate governance in a large company.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with, exploit, and analyse data.
  • Extensive written and verbal English communication skills.
