Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Lundbeck Full time

Projects & Partnering Specialist – Projects & Partnering, Global Patient Safety

Lundbeck aims to evolve into a dedicated innovator creating groundbreaking treatments in neuroscience for patients facing significant unmet needs while achieving sustainable long-term growth.

Do you possess a sense of curiosity and a passion for contributing to initiatives in global patient safety that align with our overarching strategy?

Are you keen to utilize your expertise to translate business priorities, including commercial aspects, into impact assessments for Global Patient Safety and implementing necessary transformations?

Are you enthusiastic about driving process enhancements and facilitating coordination in diverse cross-functional and cross-cultural settings, even amidst uncertainty?

If so, you might be the perfect fit as a Specialist in Projects & Partnering at Lundbeck Global Patient Safety (GPS).

Your new role – what makes this opportunity stand out?

This role offers an exciting chance to engage in a dynamic set of responsibilities that continuously evolve in response to current and future business demands in GPS. As a key figure in GPS, you will interact with stakeholders throughout the Lundbeck value chain and externally, overseeing:

  • Continuous preparation and coordination of GPS inputs for impact assessments (business cases) related to product launches and Product Range Management on a global scale, as well as business development opportunities and geographical strategies.
  • Initiatives to implement adjusted patient safety systems and processes aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Driving or supporting various process improvement endeavors.
  • Supervising and managing strategic partners/vendors when necessary.
  • Collaborating with colleagues handling vendor contracts, pharmacovigilance agreements with business partners, and local affiliate support teams.

Your future team

You have the opportunity to join a diverse team of 7 dedicated colleagues at Lundbeck, committed to fostering operational excellence and ensuring patient well-being with our medicines. Our team excels in project management, impact assessments, partner and vendor management, agile mindset initiatives, and data privacy support.

Projects & Partnering is an integral part of the GPS organization within Lundbeck Research & Development (R&D), responsible for the safety of patients using our medicinal products globally. Our team comprises approximately 100 dedicated professionals collaborating across Denmark, Singapore, and the US.

The Projects & Partnering department is situated in Valby, Denmark, providing support to all our GPS sites with this position located in Valby as well.

Our work culture is characterized by curiosity, fostering a psychologically safe environment where diversity, openness, and learning from mistakes are embraced as valuable opportunities. We encourage respectful challenges, mutual support, and maintain a pleasant working atmosphere.

What you bring to the team

While a specific educational background is not critical, we do require a Master's level education or equivalent qualifications.

A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical sector is essential. Familiarity and experience with patient safety/pharmacovigilance systems or related regulated domains, such as clinical operations, regulatory affairs, CROs, or Biotech, is greatly beneficial.

The ideal candidate will also possess expertise in driving business change initiatives, managing vendors/partners, and influencing business transformations for patient and business benefits.

Adaptability, openness to change, accountability, and proactive task management are essential qualities. Strong communication skills, stakeholder management capabilities, curiosity, and personal integrity are also key.

Additionally, the ability to simplify processes, apply a risk-based approach, understand productivity, and maintain an "Enterprise mindset" for generating comprehensive outcomes beyond immediate functions is vital.

Lundbeck provides a motivating work environment, supportive colleagues, and a collaborative culture crucial for successfully advancing treatments from research and development to commercialization for those in need. In addition to great colleagues, we offer appealing benefits, excellent canteen facilities, top-notch sports amenities, flexible work arrangements, and ample development opportunities coupled with initiatives focused on well-being.
