You will play an important role in: As our new sales manager you will play a pivotal role in driving digital transformation, fostering innovation, and optimizing sales processes. You will be responsible for generating and sustaining digital order intake in the region in close collaboration with local sales. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to the support of successfully closing the deals.

The position is based in Copenhagen, where you will have your daily work. In collaboration with your sales colleagues, you will be the architect of mutually beneficial relationships with customers in the APAC region.

You will:

  • Support our growth journey by growing market share delivering on financial targets
  • Lead sales activities in the region, including generating and nurturing sales leads, conducting commercial presentations, closing deals, and providing customer support. All in close collaboration with the front lines sales offices in the region.
  • Establish and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels, from executives to operational staff. Position yourself as the regional authority on digital solutions, demonstrating unwavering customer-centricity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Engage proactively with both regional and global teams to promote the growth of our digital business, ensuring top-tier customer support.
  • Educate and mentor colleagues acting as a digital promoter within the region
  • Push towards digital solutions, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and environmental impact

We imagine that you:

  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in business or as a Mechanical, Marine or Electrical Engineer with minimum 5 years of sales experience
  • Have a proven track record of excellent sales results within B2B and indirect sales
  • Understand the marine industry from a commercial perspective
  • Have experience working with data and preferably understand the fundamentals of agile development
  • Are familiar with digital tools, data analytics, and industry trends
  • Have excellent negotiation, collaboration and communication skills
  • Would enjoy having a very broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Are fluent in English (Chinese would be a plus)
