About the job

Service in Business Unit Energy Separation has high priority with a clear growth strategy and focus on improving the customer experience. We now need to strengthen our central team with an additional resource, and this is why we are looking for YOU our next Senior Product Engineer – Automation.

As a Senior Product Engineer – Automation you play a crucial role in advancing our customer experience.

Your key tasks will be:

  • Create and update software in both Siemens and Allen Bradley, B&R knowledge is a plus.
  • Training of our field service engineers and customers.
  • Be part of development and execution of new automation/upgrades services for our core products Separation and Evaporation systems.
  • Install & commission control systems, perform system upgrades including condition alert.
  • Technical support including (Remote support, helpdesk, claim investigations etc.)
  • Work in close co-operation with the entire central Business Unit organization.
  • Frequent contacts with our sales companies and directly with customers regarding technical support, commissioning, and product training.
  • Conduct acceptance tests for Instruments, panels, installation and control systems.
  • Drive or participate in improvement projects for current technical solutions and/or develop new solutions to ensure our competitive advantage.

The position involves a large amount of travelling (approx. 140 days / year) sometimes on short notice.

You have an eye for details and enjoys delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Flexibility and excellent communication skills are essential qualities for this role.

What you know

You have a bachelor's / master's degree within programming or similar, with a minimum 5 years of experience with Automation and Programming. We trust you have a proven track record with automated production systems in the industrial environment as well as fluency with PLC and SCADA systems. You have good knowledge in Field IO checks and hands on experience in site commissioning and troubleshooting work. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level are a must for this role
