We are Blend Blend is a mission-led start-up which believes business should always be a force for social good. Blend works with social enterprises who employ and uplift marginalized women from patriarchal villages in India to bring elegant products to the urban buyer in Nordics.

Our main product line is carpets which are hand-made with natural materials such as wool, jute, silk and recycled PET. The carpets are made with the same superior weaving technique associated with Persian carpets but have simple and neutral designs which suit the Nordic design sensibility.

We launched in Q2 and already have our products in boutique store in North of Copenhagen.

Once we establish market connects, Blend wants to connect designers from Denmark and other Nordic countries to production centers in these rural villages to blend the functional Nordic design with 5000 years old artisanal talent of India.

In future, Blend will also explore tech-based leasing options for its high-end home furnishing range. We believe that everyone should be able to upgrade home furnishings without giving-in to consumerism and impacting mother nature adversely.

By promoting handmade products by marginalized women Blend can impact 11 out of 17 UN SDG goals. So, if you are passionate about gender equality like us and want to experience diverse cultures read on ahead.

We are looking for talented profiles within e-commerce and marketing.

You'll have the key role in our external communication and marketing strategy. Your role will be to develop and implement Blend's marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and support sales. This includes creating PR articles, social media posts for LinkedIn and Instagram, producing video content and supporting our webshop content.

So, what exactly will you be doing?

· Build annual marketing cycle with the Founder and advisor.

Build our online social media presence by creating engaging and visually appealing content for social media platforms (mainly Instagram and linkedin), schedule posts, respond to comments. Manage our ecommerce site updates and write website blogs to increase SEO Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce A variety of ad-hoc and administrative tasks in relation to marketing such as support for trade shows, exhibitions and designer markets. We are not crazy and don't want you to have 10 years of experience and handle tasks, the whole marketing department couldn't handle, you will have support from an offshore member.
Based in Hellerup, the position offers around 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate exams and other commitments. Remote work options are available when needed. Your qualifications: Aware of the design and marketing landscape of Denmark and can apply the knowledge to establish connects and increase Blend's brand awareness You know your way around camera, lighting and sound for recording and editing videos Speak and write fluently in Danish and English. If you are currently studying, then ideally for one or two more years You can, and enjoy, navigating yourself through all social platforms You are skilled working with Adobe, Canva and can introduce new tools for media Basic understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research tools. Location: Our office is situated in beautiful Hellerup North of Copenhagen. We're a team of 2 people and growing.

Salary: This is an unpaid internship position. Interns might be considered for potential part-time, full-time, and freelance opportunities.
