General Description: The Quality Assurance and Inventory clerk will be working with inventory and quality control related activities at the La Crosse location

Reports to: Inventory and Quality Control Supervisor

Job Summary
The Quality Assurance and Inventory clerk is responsible for a wide variety of inventory and quality control activities that include performing daily cycle counts, FIFO stock rotation, pallet/bin consolidation, root cause error analysis, ensuring proper tags are on products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure pallets and bin are properly aligned within Navision
• Ensure all pallets have appropriate labeling (LP's)
• Bin management/including bucket bins to ensure proper transaction was done
• Stock Rotation (FIFO) ensure oldest lots are positioned in warehouse properly
• Perform La Crosse location daily cycle count
• Assist warehouse staff with inventory related questions
• Manage LX damaged inventory – make sure items are getting properly transferred in and out
• Ensure receipt/mixer out/mixer in and put away bins are cleared weekly
• Assist in warehouse organization
• Maintain elevated levels of accuracy in inventory integrity
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Forklift (both sitdown and stand-up reach fork) Driving Required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
• Other Duties as assigned
• 70% of time will be spent in warehouse performing above tasks
• 30% computer work (i.e., excel, outlook, Navision (ERP), power point

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Minimum of a high school degree and one to three years of relevant warehouse/inventory management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, product tags, transfer requests, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient math skills.
• Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, power point) and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift operation certification

Preferred

• Experience streamlining processes and eliminating waste to keep costs low while maintaining high quality products or services.
