The Role & Department
Genmab is expanding and is currently looking for a Medical Director to join our Medical Solid Tumor Team, with a focus on early development/First-in-human trials.

As a Medical Director at Genmab, your responsibilities will include overseeing the medical aspects of clinical trials, reviewing and communicating data, and providing medical input for regulatory documents and presentations.

This position will report to the Vice President, Multi Compound Medical Head in Denmark.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead study design, protocol development, and execution of clinical research for pivotal cancer studies
  • Contribute to the overall medical strategy of clinical programs and product pipeline by providing detailed medical advice on new projects
  • Review and generate clinical components of essential documents supporting registration and commercialization of compounds
  • Ensure the quality of all clinical documents and lead interactions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Oversee patient safety in clinical studies with the support of the Safety Physician
  • Plan and implement publication and clinical communication strategies
  • Provide input for external presentations and support the career development of team members

Requirements:

  • MD background with 3-5 years of industry experience
  • Strong experience in Oncology
  • Prior role as a Medical Officer for clinical trials
  • Scientific background and a deep understanding of solid tumors
  • Ability to represent the company internally and externally
