The Position

As an Associate Manager you will lead a group of highly skilled specialists and professionals. These individuals support our global production sites with expertise in how we formulate our drug products and how we perform sterile filtration of our drug products. We also work very closely with our neighbouring process experts and project managers to assist in product transfers and compliance projects which impact the manufacturing processes we own. Within our department, we also have a unit of regulatory writers who handle life cycle management activities with Regulatory Affairs, which impact our processes.

Your key responsibilities will include the following:

establishing the team's direction, with a focus on employee development and ensuring the execution of area prioritizations and strategies, through very close collaboration with your reporting manager. making sure both IFP (Injectable Finished Products) sites, projects and contract manufactures get the needed support and solutions. aiding production to continue, prioritising improvements, optimisations, new facilities, and new technology. You excel in an environment where your decisions have a global impact across different sites and enjoy stakeholder management on a global scale. In joining this area, you will step into the complex environment of aseptic production and drug product expertise. Experience from within Novo Nordisk manufacturing would be beneficial, preferably aseptic production. As a manager, you value openness and honesty and take pleasure in witnessing your team thrive and succeed through collaborative efforts. You establish clear, achievable objectives and effectively communicate them, ensuring that everyone understands how to achieve success. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: built your leadership skills and experience on top of an academic background, probably within science, engineering, pharmacy or similar. solid leadership background, this could be within innovation, production, or production support. a scientific and analytical mindset is advantageous, due to the complex nature of the work of your direct reports. a firm interest in getting to know the areas that your employees work with. fluency in English both written and verbal. As a person, you know the value of building relationships and earning trust and respect from colleagues and employees. You bridge cultural, professional, and geographical distances with ease, always focusing on how to reach sustainable solutions in an ever-changing environment. About the Area The IFP, Site Support and Improvements area is a dynamic growing area that provides site support and improvement projects of diverse complexity across our production sites globally. We produce our many high-quality products fighting diabetes and obesity worldwide. Aseptic Process Support, Site Support & Improvements is a dynamic department, supporting our global IFP aseptic production sites and setting the direction for improvements, optimisations, new facilities, and new technology globally. We have a strong focus on making a difference in close collaboration with our stakeholders by implementing novel solutions based on data driven decisions and in accordance with GMP regulations.
