DTU Engineering Technology is currently accepting applications for a Research Assistant position. Whether you have recently graduated or possess academic or industrial experience, this opportunity could serve as a steppingstone toward a Ph.D. scholarship if you aspire to pursue an academic career.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Together with our team, you are expected to contribute to DTU's strategic aim of being Europe's best engineering education.
The position's primary responsibility will be to assist the group's research strategy through contribution to funding applications and research projects. Typical tasks will be conducting literature reviews, desk research, as well as data collection, initial data analysis and co-writing of publications.
As part of the Department of Engineering Technology at DTU the research group has a strong emphasis on engineering education research. The successful candidate should expect to work broadly within the field of Engineering Education Research, and to engage especially with the areas of digital tools for teaching, learning models, feedback methods etc.
Your primary tasks will be contribution to research within the following areas:
- Learning models
- Digital teaching
- Digital technologies
- Use of cases in teaching
Prior experience in these areas or with collecting and analysing quantitative or qualitative data is an advantage, but not a precondition for successfully filling the position.
The role as Research Assistant offers opportunities to refine your profile within a growing research environment focused on high-quality research within engineering education. The position will enable you to build a wide network with researchers within this field nationally and internationally and could potentially lead to a Ph.D. scholarship.
