Head of Non-Financial Risk

We are currently seeking a new Head of Non-Financial Risk to join our team. There are now 34 of us working in Kamppi and we are looking for a person who is passionate about working with Non-Financial Risk, especially with Operational Risk, AML and GDPR, who will make sure we understand what risks we might face and how we can mitigate them. The role is new, and we will be hiring for other team positions as well. The new department head will report directly to the CEO and in matrix to head office functions in Norway and have 3 FTEs in his/her team.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Lead a strong professional environment in relevant non-financial risk areas
• Develop competent employees and team
• Proactive in seeking and finding compliant solutions in a relatively complex environment
• Promote innovation and change to ensure that DNB Auto Finance practices and established best practices in all relevant areas
• Contribute to handling operational risk and compliance themes in a robust and sustainable manner with high quality
• Ensure that DNB Auto Finance complies with and meets regulatory requirements, internal frameworks, and regulatory/supervisory requirements
• Focus on the areas with the highest risk and adopt a risk-based approach.

Qualifications and experience:

• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in risk management, operational risk, audit, or other related control functions
• Demonstrated knowledge of banking industry regulations (e.g., AML, sanctions, anti-corruption, privacy, and operational risk)
• Fluent in Finnish and English (knowledge of Swedish or Norwegian is a bonus)
• Enjoy working in a cross-discipline team, in an international environment
