What's in it for you
We are on an exciting journey rolling out SAP EWM, a Warehouse Management System (WMS), at various sites in Novo Nordisk with the purpose of automating warehouse operations by applying modern technology, e.g., mobile robots (AGVs/AMRs) and shuttle systems. This is a key enabler for Novo Nordisk's digitalization journey and you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in securing production efficiency and speed for the next many years.
You will work closely with our SAP EWM Core Product Management team, our implementation partners and other tracks within WareX being responsible for Operations of SAP EWM globally on our production sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor, manage, and resolve incidents related to SAP EWM operations
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Collaborate with warehouse operations, IT teams, and external vendors to address and resolve incidents
  • Ensure high availability and performance of SAP EWM systems
  • Maintain incident logs and documentation for tracking and reporting purposes, while continuously optimizing and improving incident management processes
  • Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and warehouse staff
  • Participate in regular audits and compliance checks to ensure system integrity and security

You will also be involved in dialogues across our program, ensuring that the solution delivered is aligned with business requirements and to ensure a high level of quality in your deliverables as the solution must adhere to GxP requirements.

What We Look For:
To be successful in this role, we expect you to meet most of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with the SAP EWM module, including MFS functionality for automated warehouses. At least 5 years of experience in SAP EWM is preferred.
  • Proven experience in SAP EWM operations, incident resolution and warehouse management processes with expertise in integration with SAP WM, PP, PI, QM, MES, and other SAP modules
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with ITIL processes, incident management tools and presenting information to stakeholders in business settings.
  • Familiarity with GxP regulations, SAP EWM monitoring tools and techniques for system optimization
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English; knowledge of Danish is an advantage

As a person you have a pragmatic mindset, and you are solution oriented, ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, using clear and concise language. With a structured approach to ensure all activities throughout the IT life cycle is done in accordance with implementation plans and relevant procedures. Moreover, you can drive continuous improvement in a highly complex stakeholder environment.

The department, WareX is anchored in DD&IT Supply Chain and is focused on implementing SAP EWM – a Warehouse Management System (WMS), used across Novo Nordisk. We set the strategic direction and ensure that processes across production lines are automated and optimized.
The team is primarily located in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark and work hand-in-hand with our Product Supply colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our global manufacturing processes to the next level.
