Manager - Growth Market Fund, Investment Management

About the position
You will join a highly motivated international group of best-in-class colleagues with exceptional experience in investments in energy and infrastructure assets. The Investment Management team is responsible for CIP's investment in construction and operations and works closely with other local and global teams within CIP including the Investment teams, Financial Analysis, and Finance.
In this position, you will support CIP's investments in Growth Markets together with a senior team member of the Investment Management team. The main responsibility will be to deliver on the investment performance, mitigate risks, and contribute to optimization initiatives throughout the construction phase and operation phase. Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:
- Lead the overall Investments through the construction and operational phase
- Provide detailed analysis with a focus on investments' value creation
- Management of financial models and review of economic and financial assumptions
- Working with and managing external advisors and partners, including legal, financial, and technical to manage investments.
- Provide analysis of contacts and interface risks relating to construction and operations agreement
- Development of analysis and high-quality presentations for internal decision makers and external stakeholders on the investments' performance
- Drive initiatives to optimize operational, technical and financial performance in the construction phase and in the operations phase of investments
- Preparing material for decision making on senior management level
- Mentor associates and analysts and take responsibility of the quality of their deliverables
About you
The work environment at CIP is fast paced, stimulating, global and demanding. We are therefore looking for a self-driven, collaborative, and analytical professional holding a relevant master's degree within Economics, Finance, Business, Engineering, or other related fields with work experience in a similar position in an international organization.
Key qualifications include:
- Be a team player with the confidence to exercise judgement appropriately, engaging with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
- Clear demonstration and track record on driving successful projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work well under pressure and take on responsibility
- Substantial experience with Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with energy and infrastructure is an advantage, but not a requirement
- A self-starter attitude with tenacity, initiative and a willingness to commit to deliver the required results
