About ferm LIVING
We are a Danish design and interior brand established in 2006. From our base in Copenhagen, we work with artisans around the world, fusing our Scandinavian mindset and design with global skills and traditions. We create two yearly collections of furniture, accessories and lighting - for all rooms in the home.
About the role
As our new Digital Graphic Designer, you will be a key player within the marketing team, juggling different tasks within the field of graphic design, art direction and layout for our e-commerce platform. You will continuously develop and strengthen our graphic and visual profile by creating inspiring content, concepts and design for our webshop in close collaboration with the team and will be reporting to our Art Director. Your primary areas of responsibility will include:
- The overall look on the webshop, including content to drive traffic to the site
- Creating digital material for our e-commerce platform including but not limited to newsletters, web stories, category banners, collection pages and content for our landing page
- Creating digital material to increase traffic to the webshop e.g. paid social and digital ads
- Responsible for webshop content, keeping it up-to-date and managing weekly refreshes across eight local sites (and counting)
- Managing and setting-up newsletters, newsletter flows and content
- Video editing
What we're looking for
You are a strong graphic designer with a profound understanding of your craft for digital media. You take pride in completing your tasks on time and always hold yourself to a high aesthetic standard with great attention to detail. You understand from experience that being an excellent graphic designer also requires structure, planning and focus, and you have a great eye for layout and genuine interest in digital trends. You are open, possess great interpersonal skills, have a positive mindset and enjoy working in a team, contributing with positive and supportive energy.
- Highly experienced with InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with video editing in After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Minimum 5 years' work experience within the interior or design industry, or experience working at an agency
- Structured, organized and highly detail-oriented
- Experience with Shopify is a plus
