Director, Business Finance – Lead Our Nordic Team Supporting NetCo & Support Functions

Do you want to lead a skilled finance team working at the core of Nordic infrastructure investments?

We are looking for a Director, NetCo & Support Functions who not only brings strong financial expertise, but also a clear focus on people leadership and experience managing finance teams across borders. You will lead, develop, motivate, and unite a Nordic team of 6 Business Controllers – based in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

Together, you contribute financial insight and transparency across a wide area of our business. NetCo itself is a central part of GlobalConnect, with around 500 employees and over €100 million in digital infrastructure investments annually. It includes both commercial activities - like infrastructure capacity and data center services for international and national carriers - and responsibility for developing and maintaining Group IT and the technology backbone for the entire organization.

The role is placed within the Business Finance organization and is responsible for business controlling and partnering in close collaboration with stakeholders across Sales, Technology, IT, and Staff functions. You'll oversee controlling and budgeting/forecasting of revenue, EBITDA, and capex – with capex being a key focus area. Knowledge of accounting practices is important, as the team works closely with Accounting on processes such as monthly closing.

You'll build a motivated team culture across borders, offer clear guidance, and support each team member in delivering high-quality financial insights. Through structured collaboration and open communication, you'll help ensure consistency, efficiency, and engagement across the Nordic region.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead and support a Nordic team of 6 Business Controllers based in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.
• Foster team collaboration and professional development across borders.
• Take responsibility for controlling, budgeting, and forecasting across revenue, EBITDA, and capex.
• Support investment cases, CAPEX planning, and financial modelling for NetCo and Support Functions.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting on monthly close and financial accuracy.

• Experience from a financial leadership role at Director level, preferably across multiple countries.
• Deep knowledge of CAPEX controlling, investment analysis, and financial forecasting.
• Thrives in an international and dynamic organization with high complexity.
• An experienced business partnering mindset and delivers value through insight and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire from a distance.
• Fluency in verbal and written English.
