The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring a high level of satisfaction in the service provided to customers. This role involves managing the processing of contracts and overseeing accurate, timely billing for new deals and recurring revenue, including cancellation requests and credit notes. As our new Billing Specialist, you will check that revenue is recognized correctly throughout the month, calculate any network overages, and assist in completing month-end duties.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Revenue Recognition

As our Billing Specialist, you will need to:

  1. Understand TrueCommerce's products to provide accurate billing.
  2. Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data.
  3. Suggest NetSuite improvements to streamline the billing process.
  4. Communicate effectively with the Implementation, Managed Service, and Financial Contract Management teams to ensure timely milestone billing and accurate volume excess charges.
  5. Own customer issues through to resolution, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  6. Assist with financial audits to ensure compliance.
  7. Verify the revenue recognition process and check for errors.
  8. Ensure subscriptions are updated for the correct value against all new deals.
  9. Possess proficient IT skills, particularly in MS Office with an emphasis on Excel.
  10. Have experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite.
  11. Demonstrate strong analytical skills and adaptability to new IT packages.
  12. Exhibit excellent listening, written, and verbal communication abilities.
  13. Be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently.
  14. Be structured with effective time management skills and committed to achieving targets.
  15. Have a genuine interest in providing excellent customer service and resolving complaints calmly and effectively.
  16. Be proficient in Danish and English; German skills will be considered a plus.
