The Role

As our Senior Designer, Apparel, you will be responsible for developing innovative and commercially appealing designs, ensuring alignment with our brand profile and product strategy. You will have a leading role in the conceptualization and execution of two main collections per year, including two pre-drops and show-exclusive collections, playing an essential role in shaping the short- and long-term strategy for the Apparel category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of apparel products, from concept to final execution.
  • Define and execute creative direction, including themes, colors, and materials.
  • Build and develop collections by creating new designs, improving existing styles, and maintaining continuity in the current collection.
  • Conduct trend research and integrate relevant customer insights into the design process.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Development team to drive product quality, fabric, and trim development.
  • Visualize product concepts with a high degree of expertise.
  • Mentor and inspire junior designers within the team.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, while maintaining strong relationships with external partners, including agencies and suppliers.
Who you are

We are looking for a positive, collaborative, proactive, creative, and detail-oriented designer who is thriving in a dynamic work environment. You have a strong ability to translate brand identity into compelling apparel collections. You should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a design environment, preferably within apparel design, with solid technical knowledge of apparel construction, materials, and trims.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Mac-based design software, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Strong research skills and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.
  • Ability to manage your own creative process and execute designs within given parameters.
  • Experience working with suppliers and production partners.
  • Fluency in English (written and orally) is mandatory.
  • Experience of professional travel, including client meetings and factory visits.
