Location: Copenhagen, Hybrid 2 days a week

Duration: 1 year contract

My client is looking for a dynamic Scrum Master to join them on a year's initial contract The Scrum Master is also expected to perform various tasks within the scrum team such as write/review system documentation.

The candidate should have experience as SAFe Scrum Master, release manager, agile project lead, or similar. The candidate should also have experience with implementation/maintenance of IT systems, ideally within the Veeva Vault product suite. The ideal candidate must be well-versed in Scrum and DevOps practices, capable of adapting approaches to specific contexts, with a strong background in large company Agile environments. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems are essential.

Key responsibilities:
  1. Act as Scrum Master for a Technical Scrum team implementing features related to Mulesoft integrations.
  2. Coordinate and plan activities and dependencies with other teams e.g. SAP ART teams.
  3. Take selected tasks from the team backlog when needed (for example write/review system documentation, execute tests, etc.)
  4. Facilitate team events and ensure efficient delivery by preparing, moderating, and postprocessing discussions.
  5. Coach the scrum team, mediate conflicts, and foster a collaborative working environment. The team consists of 7-8 team members located in Denmark, India, and the Philippines.
  6. Track and address impediments, escalating issues when necessary to ensure seamless workflow.
  7. Assist the scrum team and other roles in preparing for and aligning expectations during various events (Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Planning, Retrospective, Demo, etc.)
  8. Together with the 5 other Scrum Masters, RTE, and the Agile Coach improve the overall maturity level of the Vault Quality ART.

To succeed in this role, you must embrace the servant leader mindset, empowering people to change without formal authority. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, as the team members and stakeholders across the organization are located globally.

Requirements:
  1. An academic background in a relevant field such as Business-IT, Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  2. Profound experience with Lean-Agile methodologies, ideally certified in Scaled Agile Scrum Master/SAFe DevOps.
  3. Experience with technical IT delivery teams formed by different profiles such as Developers, Functional Experts, Testers, or similar.
  4. Capacity to effectively build followership and coach a team to adapt the agile practices, principles, and values.
  5. Ability to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  6. Great communication skills, and you feel confident also dealing with difficult subjects.
