As a Strategic Cyber Security Advisor, you will focus on providing clients with expert-level strategic guidance. You will be responsible for assessing cyber risks, developing mitigation strategies, and advising on long-term security frameworks to protect organizations. Your ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable business strategies will be key to helping clients build resilience against cyber threats.

In your role, you will typically engage in tasks such as:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive cyber security policies and risk management frameworks
  • Conducting cyber risk assessments and presenting findings to key stakeholders
  • Advising on the integration of cyber security strategies into overall business objectives
  • Working with senior leadership to prioritize and align security investments with business goals
  • Collaborating with clients to develop and improve incident response plans

Skills we are looking for in this role:
You likely have experience from another consultancy company and possess 3-5 years of experience in a strategic cyber security advisory role. The skills below are samples of what we seek. It is not necessary to have them all, as we are looking for multiple candidates within this field:

  • Strong understanding of cyber security management frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST
  • Experience with advising on security governance, risk, and compliance strategies
  • Familiarity with developing long-term security roadmaps and policies for organizations
  • Experience with business continuity management and/or ISO 22301 or alike
  • Ability to communicate and influence senior leadership on security matters
  • Full working proficiency in English; Danish is a big advantage
