Driven Strategy & Business Development Analyst

BioMar Group is looking for a talented and driven Strategy & Business Development Analyst to join our dynamic Strategy, Business Development, and M&A team. The ideal candidate possesses strong financial and analytical skills and will be a key contributor to the realization of BioMar's strategy and our ongoing IPO evaluation process.

In this role, you will report to our Vice President for Strategy, M&A, and Business Development and perform high-profile projects and tasks including:

  1. Comprehensive financial analysis and market research for the department, as well as for the IPO evaluation process.
  2. Collect and maintain data, internally and externally, and perform analysis for strategy follow-up, business cases, valuation, and various business development projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives and M&A efforts with business goals.
  4. Prepare decision-making material and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  5. Due diligence on target companies, including financial, operational, and ESG/legal aspects.

The position offers excellent growth opportunities and possibilities for working with a broad range of business topics across our international markets. For the right candidate, the job will provide an opportunity for advancing to a project manager role.

Financial acumen and a natural desire for making an impact

Furthermore, we expect you to have:

  1. A Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in investment banking, consultancy, private equity, or corporate strategy/M&A.
  3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  4. Experience with financial modeling and valuation skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  7. Proficiency in accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  8. Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling software.

It would be an advantage if you bring experience from former IPOs, strategy execution, and M&A.

Our office is situated in the heart of Aarhus, Denmark. As we are a global company, travel activities outside Denmark must be expected.
