The finance team plays a vital part in this by supporting all functions related to Keepit's financial well-being. As a Payroll Accountant, you will be a central part of achieving this goal by ensuring timely and accurate compensation for our employees. You will work closely with the rest of our finance team in making sure that we maintain a complete financial overview of our scale-up journey. Therefore, you must have a structured and detailed financial mindset and an interest in seeking dialogue with your colleagues.

Central tasks as a Payroll Accountant at Keepit include:

  • Calculating our employees' pay and managing deductions according to laws and regulations.
  • Reporting to SKAT, pension companies etc.
  • Distributing timely payments and adhering to deadlines.
  • Bookkeeping payroll records.
  • Improve and automate internal processes.
  • Communicating with our employees about wage conditions.
  • Reconciliation of vacation balances.
  • Other payroll-related tasks.
  • Carrying out different controlling tasks as well as taking on ad-hoc tasks and projects depending on interests and ambitions.

As a Payroll Accountant, you will be joining our accounting dream team of 14 people. You will be working from our Copenhagen office located on the 7th floor of Parken, the national stadium of Denmark, with a beautiful view of the park and the sea. We offer flexible work conditions.   1. A structured approach to payroll: We are looking for a candidate who pays attention to details and who enjoys a hands-on and structured workday. We are looking for a candidate who understands Danish payroll. The right candidate is also open to learning new financial systems that can influence our automation- and implementation journey.
  2. Language: We use English as our preferred company language. Being fluent in English, both written and spoken, is therefore a prerequisite for this role. As a main task of the job is to communicate internally with our employees, clear and elaborative communication skills are particularly ideal. In addition, being a Danish-speaker may be an advantage in order to work with Danish legislation and public authorities.
