The position

As a Project Manager within biodiversity at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  1. Drive biodiversity net gain projects for Novo Nordisk-owned areas globally.
  2. Support and implement standards and best practices for incorporating biodiversity considerations into construction and facility activities.
  3. Identify and lead projects with relevant stakeholders to reduce pressures on biodiversity from local site activities.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. A relevant academic education (M.Sc. or PhD) in biology, sustainability, engineering, or nature sciences, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Project Manager.
  2. Proven track record of working with biodiversity projects and urban nature, along with knowledge of best practices in validating and documenting these.
  3. Strong project management skills and experience in cross-functional collaborations with both consultants and contractors.
  4. Strong communication skills and the ability to share recommendations with senior management.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office products and a working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
  6. Professional proficiency in English.

On a personal level, you have a high degree of integrity, excellent stakeholder management skills, a self-starter with the ability to structure and prioritize your work independently while collaborating with colleagues.

About the department

In PSQIT Sustainability, we are 60 employees and growing, anchored in Strategy & Sustainability at our HQ offices. As part of Product Supply Quality and IT (PSQIT), we focus on environmental sustainability and translate our corporate strategy into concrete actions. Our department, Nature & Chemicals, is a dynamic team of 10 people driving sustainability programs and projects. You will quickly become a valued and integral part of our team, contributing to innovative, sustainable, and compliant solutions for production, products, and supply across PSQIT.
