The position
At Novo Nordisk's production site in Bagsværd, we are dedicated to producing marketed products and products for clinical trials. Our complex production processes are crucial for providing quality products to patients worldwide. We are excited to announce the establishment of a new department in 2024, dedicated to ensuring the successful launch of a new product scheduled to hit the market in 2026. As we prepare for this launch, we anticipate a significant growth in our department, with a projected workforce of 170 employees.
As a Manufacturing Manager, you will be managing our technical support team, comprising experienced and new employees. As a people manager, your focus will be to ensure that the team possesses the necessary expertise and knowledge to effectively handle and resolve technical challenges in compliance with the stringent requirements of aseptic production.
In addition to this, your tasks include:
- Providing the team with the required resources and support to maintain operational efficiency and uphold applicable quality standards.
- Offering continuous training, ensuring adherence to procedures and guidelines.
- Establishing clear communication channels to promptly and effectively address any technical challenges.
- Driving a lean mindset and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the technical support domain.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we believe you:
- Hold a master's degree in engineering, manufacturing, natural science, or a related field.
- Bring practical experience in a people management role, ideally from a highly regulated organization.
- Demonstrate a LEAN mindset, successfully optimizing and improving processes.
- Showcase effective stakeholder management, along with excellent communication skills.
- Display proficiency in both spoken and written English and Danish.
As a person and leader, you are proactive, open-minded, and driven by performance. You excel at engaging stakeholders at all levels, building strong partnerships, and fostering collaboration. You have a proven track record in process optimization, with the ability to turn complexities into opportunities for efficiency and improvement. Lastly, you have a talent for guiding, coaching, and inspiring others to reach their full potential, creating a motivated and high-performing team.
About the department
You will join the Aseptic Manufacturing department in Bagsværd, where together, we are responsible for formulating, filling, and inspecting diabetes and obesity products. We play a very central role in Novo Nordisk, providing vital products in top quality for patients with diabetes and obesity every day.
In Aseptic Manufacturing, we are 750 talented and motivated employees, dedicated to handling the launch of new products, ensuring the future growth of the site and Novo Nordisk.
